What is an Endowment?

Endowments are funds that are designed to assist Sacred Heart now and into the future by investment of the principle donation. The Sacred Heart Foundation invests the principal donated to the fund and then distributes a set percentage of the average balance towards the purpose you choose when you establish the fund.

What is a Scholarship?

Scholarships are funds that are established for the specific purpose of helping students to fulfill their tuition at Sacred Heart School. Most of our scholarships are endowed, however some donors choose to set up a scholarship that is not endowed, and we call that a one-time scholarship - this means that the principal donated to the scholarship is meant to be distributed directly to students, and not invested.

What is the Student Annual Drive?

The Student Annual Drive is the Foundation’s opportunity to partner with Alumni in supporting the immediate operational needs of Sacred Heart School. This year’s goal is to raise $150,000. These funds help to keep the lights on, the rooms warm and inviting, and our students well served with the technology, equipment, and quality teachers they need to thrive.
